Mission & Vision

Our Vision

Transform the traditional Ugandan Primary Education system to prepare children for a successful future.

The Ugandan national curriculum employs rote learning which limits the development of critical thinking skills in learners. The education system in Uganda already faces challenges meeting young people’s needs-current curriculum and teaching methods don’t consistently prepare children for what is to come following graduation. Despite an eagerness and commitment to learn, even students who finish school often find themselves lacking the skills needed to overcome gender inequalities and secure one of the few available jobs leading to unemployment and poverty.

Education Transformation is Critical. Little Dreamers believes that by transforming education, we can equip children with the skills to disrupt systemic problems.

At Little Dreamers Education Academy, our approach is anchored around Life Skills Education.

Uganda has the second youngest population in the world. 48% of Uganda’s population is below the age of 15 years. Soon these children will become the region’s leaders and workforce.

This model enables children to acquire a skills-based education compatible to the mainstream government curricular while preparing them for a life after school and as changemakers for their respective communities.
